When I tell yall. This is the spot! So nice and the vibe is lit. I definitely enjoyed myself and the food!! One of the best services I've had.
The service was good. We were greeted as we entered the establishment and took our seats. Prompt service and helpful when ordering. The ambiance was cool. Typical bar; but clean, organized and a pretty orange sign with the name on it. The food was fire. The Mac n cheese and greens was delicious; like somebody auntie made it. The chicken bites were delicious, as well as the lamb chops. My drink was yummo, I had 2. The owner came out and chatted with us; he was very nice. Definitely will return.
Came to Brookies to grab food for myself and my granddaughter (she placed the order online) picked up the order at approximately 2pm, so not a lot going on in the bar at this point! Only 1 patron in the bar at that time. It was clean, the bar tender was attentive, and hit my food after a brief mixup! My granddaughter ordered the lamb chops with asparagus and mashed potatoes, the food was good but the asparagus was overcooked n limp but otherwise good. I had the Alfredo Potato with shrimp! Very tasty and the potatoe was huge and it was covered in Cajun seasoning and very tasty, but the shrimp was overcooked but otherwise very good! The food is always plentiful! Ended up being enough for 2 meals each. I've been here before and will return!

I recently moved to the Wayne area and found Brookins near by. I've ordered pickup twice. The 1st time I truly wanted to stay and enjoy the quiet but soulful ambiance with drink in hand. The food was fresh hot and delicious
Steak bites, Mac and cheese, yams some of the best I've ever had. Hall of fame cornbread. I ate at the bar. Service excellent.
The food here is AMAZING!!!!! I would say Brookies is known for their pastas, Alfredo potatoes, and the lamb chops. Great quality food at great prices as well. Great addition to the city of Wayne. Even better it's a Black owned establishment! There is hustle classes on Friday, Karaoke nights, and daily drink specials. If you're visiting Detroit or in the area please come and check them out.
